His offers from the Spartans and Commodores are his first Power 4 offers, and he has inked an official visit with MSU during the first week of June. The Class of 2027 Whitehall-Yearling is a fast edge rusher with a quick first step, takes great angles to the ball, has a high motor and can deliver big hits. Great block shedder at the corner, uses his length to disengage, and has a high ceiling.

The 6-foot-3, 215-pound edge rusher is very athletic and a stout edge defender, especially against the run. Kanneh can shed blocks, wrap up in space and is a strong open-field tackler. Lawrence is one of the more profiled additions to any list I’ve published, but his work this season was effective and productive. He’s an incredible athlete with explosive off-the-edge speed. He’s got a lengthy frame. He uses his hands to get by tackles, either swiping through them or pushing them out of his way. He uses his long arms to take away lanes for runners and can make tackles while still engaged. Lawrence was one of the most watches on film during my time creating these squads.
