About Landrey

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Hardworking do it all player. Offense, defense, special teams. Quick off the ball, run good routes, great hands, tough runner and speed to break away. 2025 Offense Stats: (WR) 23 Receptions for 492 Yards and 7 TD's Defense Stats: (SS) 45 Total Tackles (30 solo), 1 TFL, 7 Pass-breakups. 2 Punt Returns for 65 yards 2 Kickoff Returns for 62 yards.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I plan on not letting anyone out work me, in the off season, weight room or on the field.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Focus Elite 7v7. St Mary’s Ryken, Presidents Honor roll 1st semester in Highschool.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

How to run my routes correctly, how to attack certain coverages. Use leverage to my advantage. How to advocate for myself, at school and to the coaches. Dressed & played in 21 games this season (double duty), JV (#3) and Varsity (#29) my Freshman season. Was a leader for my 14U 7V7 team in 2025 and helped guide our team to 3 out of 5 tournament wins (Prep Redzone PA, NLG Virginia, NLG SC).

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Dealt with ankle/foot issues during my 11u season. Hurt part of my travel flag season and tackle season. Started growing, working out and have stayed healthy. -Lost my mom to breast cancer 2 days before my 5th birthday. Watched my Dad work hard to provide for me and my two other siblings. I think it helped shape my drive to be the best.

What type of college are you looking for?

I would love to go D1, but looking for the best opportunity to play either D1 or D2.

Landrey is a player whop stands out every time I see him. He continues to improve & impress, and I expect a big sophomore season from him. An excellent route runner, Phillips makes sharp cuts and is in & out of breaks quickly with burst/explosiveness. He showcases elite hands. Consistently catching the ball away from his body, plucking the ball out the air & catching it in stride to get some good RAC. A well slapped together player as well, Landrey plays with good physicality and strength in making tough catches down the field. Landrey will be a player to watch for sure this upcoming fall.
