. A two-sport standout who also excels in baseball, Nida is a tremendous overall athlete with D1 athleticism which has already earned him a football offer from App State before his senior season has begun. He’s a safety prospect but should see more snaps on offense this season with RB/WR versatility after some losses from last season’s 10-2 team. He’s an extremely quick and fast athlete who can cover a lot of ground on the back end of the defense and plays well in space. Nida also has great closing and pursuit speed and is a reliable open-field tackler.
We’re eager to see his dynamic playmaking ability more this season on offense and could be one of the top two-way players in the state this season.

. Not only did he jump up 30 spots to #12 overall now, but Nida is also now considered the #2 DB in the 2025 class. Like many of his teammates this off-season, Nida too picked up his first D1 offer from App State which warranted a big increase in the rankings. The offer makes a ton of sense as Nida has athletic ability that you’re either born with or you aren’t and could go D1 in multiple sports. He’ll have some stiff competition to maintain that lofty ranking including prospects on his own team and DB room, but Nida should see other FBS programs jumping on board with App State sooner rather than later.

. Already in the Top 5 of 2025 DBs in our rankings, Nida will climb even higher in the rankings during the summer update, especially for his state ranking. His athletic traits are off the charts so it’s no surprise why D1 schools are interested in him. Nida is likely a D1 baseball prospect as well if he decides he wants to go that route instead at the next level. I foresee more G5 and FCS programs jumping on board with App State seeking his services and would expect to see him receive more offers before the 2024 season begins.
