Mitchell is one of the best overall athletes across northern California and is extremely fluid and athletic for his size. He should fit nicely as a true edge rusher or outside linebacker in college and has outstanding closing speed, natural bend, explosion off the ball and a quick use of hands the point of attack. He covers a ton of ground quickly when pursuing backside and shows the ability to redirect and make plays in space while able to cover the flats as well. He shows good twitch off the ball and can beat bigger tackles with both speed and power and flashes counter moves. He has tons of untapped potential at the next level with plus athleticism and upside. Mitchell currently holds offers from NAU, SDSU and San Jose State and should be a multi-offer guy through the spring evaluation period and summer.
