He played a huge role in the St. Charles West passing game, finishing the year with 29 receptions for 422 yards and three touchdowns in 11 games. Cotton has shown the versatility to line up both as a true tight end and out wide at receiver where he has the speed to pose as a threat in the deep passing game. He is also dangerous after the catch, showing the ability to use his speed, strength, and elusiveness to turn short passes into big gains. Kyle surprisingly hasn’t reported much college interest but he is definitely a player that coaches should keep a close eye on heading into his senior year.

Kyle’s length, strong hands, and next level athleticism highlights his potential to be a dynamic red zone threat in college. Coaches envision Kyle as a solid inline blocker when they see his physicality and strength on defense. A good combination of size and speed allows Kyle to separate when aligned all over the field. I am excited to see Kyle develop in both phases as an upperclassman.
