Yet another reason we love doing these camps are the stories of instant return on investment. Prospect comes to our camp with zero offers, takes care of business and leaves with their first offer and gets the ball rolling there. That was the case for Garber 2025 offensive lineman Kooper HughesKooperHughes

after he took home MVP honors for the offensive line group. He also earned an offer from NWOSU after their coaches were working with him all afternoon. Hughes was one of several prospects at that position that had really strong camps and we’re fired up that he’s already seeing that hard work paying off with his first offer. This 8-man standout is a name to remember this spring and summer.

is a name to look out for moving forward. Hughes is also coming to our January 28th camp and we’re looking forward to seeing him compete against some of Oklahoma’s best. We put on the tape from his junior season and the first thing that stands out is the physicality he plays with. And that’s something we love to see from the offensive line position. Hughes absolutely mauls opponents and more times than not, they end up on their backs when Hughes locks his hands in and starts driving forward. There were several clips on his film where he gets out of his stance and is pulling and when he gets some momentum, he becomes an absolute freight train that nobody can slow down. The size he plays with is strong and as of right now, it looks like he projects to becoming more of an interior offensive lineman at the next level. Whether that’s guard or center is still up for debate. One thing that Hughes can work on this offseason is his overall quickness and speed out of his stance. The overall power and strength is very impressive but if he can combine those tools with a quicker first step and is bringing the fight to his opponent, he’s going to be a guy that is playing football on Saturdays in the future.
