Averaging over 382 yards per game, he consistently keeps Southside’s offense ahead of the chains. His 74.7% completion rate is especially impressive given the volume of throws he attempts each week. Moody has tossed 60 touchdown passes, showing elite red-zone efficiency and timing. He displays strong pocket awareness and does a great job progressing through reads. Defenses know the ball is going in the air, yet still struggle to slow him down. Moody’s confidence allows him to attack tight windows without forcing unnecessary throws. His command of the offense makes Southside dangerous every time they take the field.

Despite still being in middle school, Moody is amongst the most productive and efficient QBs in Alabama this fall. He is undersized, but still has time for that size and frame to come around. Regardless, he is really reigned in as a passer for his age. The ball comes off his hand better than you would think for his size. He has good touch and gets the ball to turn over when dropping it over the top. Moody is obviously a good operator and has a good feel for the position. Now, let’s see how those traits come along. Moody has been unstoppable this year, completing 129/177 passes for 2337 yards and 25 TDs to only 9 INTs.
