A senior quarterback to keep a close eye on this weekend from Cherokee County, Martin has played efficient, winning football all season long this year for a really strong Sequoyah team. They love to run the ball with one of the best backs in the state, but Martin also has the ability to make plays through the air. He’s safe with the football but still has enough arm talent to make a big throw when he needs to. He’s thrown for 1,552 yards and 16 touchdowns while also helping out in the run game. Martin has led the offense to at least 30 points in every game but two this season and is coming off a strong round one win over Creekview. Look for Martin to be at his best when Sequoyah plays Newnan.
