Expert Analysis
Connor Jackson | Prep Redzone Scout
Brown returns as Dacula’s leading returning rusher, and is set to play an even bigger role as a junior. Brown is a scat back who has played both ways and on special teams in his HS career. He has truly impressive burst, wasting no time dancing and instead putting his feet in the dirt and quickly getting vertical. He runs hard, so while he is certainly more of a finessee option, he gets the most out of each rep and is no easy task to catch and bring down.

An impressive two-way athlete in Gwinnett County who really shined on offense this season, Brown was one of the top 2028 running backs in the region this year who made an impact out of the backfield in the passing game as well. A dependable defensive back as well who made 13 tackles with one forced fumble and another fumble recovery, Brown was an easy option at running back where he ran for 445 yards and four touchdowns, averaging an impressive 8.7 yards per carry. He also hauled in 22 passes for 141 yards and two more scores. He’s an above-average athlete who should have a giant junior season in 2025. He’s currently ranked as the No. 4 athlete in the state for the 2028 class.

Smaller, scat-back build. Plays both ways as a freshman and contributed on special teams, too. Impressive burst. Wastes no time dancing, puts his foot in the ground and gets vertical. Possesses the burst to explode through gaps and split defenders. Runs hard. He will only get better as he matures.
