Klayton Lawson

About Klayton
Expert Analysis
Rob Howe | Prep Redzone Scout
Lawson stuffed the stat sheet for one of the few unbeaten teams remaining heading into Week 8 of the 2025 season. Through the first seven games, the senior had caught 34 balls for 703 yards and 11 touchdowns. He added 142 yards and two scores on 19 carries. On defense, he produced 28.5 tackles (18 solo), intercepted a pass and recovered a fumble. He also averaged 25.2 yards on four kick returns, which highlighted his speed and elusiveness with the rock in his hands. Lawson is effective on the outside but is best suited for the slot, where he can use his talents making people miss in space. He’s solidly put together, which also helps him break tackles and run over defenders. Lawson sells his routes well and adds value as a blocker in the run game. He’s worth a closer look for colleges looking to add potential in multiple phases.
