Prep Redzone Iowa last wrote a Kratofil evaluation nine months ago. It definitely was time to spruce up his profile with an updated report from a productive junior campaign of 2025 at Centerville. It reached the playoffs with him playing an important role in the success. Kratofil recorded 19.5 tackles, 11 of which were of the solo variety. He had a half tackle for loss, a half sack and recovered a pair of fumbles. When we pop on his 11th-grade highlight video, we can see how Kratofil gets the job done. He operates as a stand-up defensive end, making sure to set the edge before pursuing the ball carrier. His hands are active and help him quickly shed blocks. Kratofil is fast in a straight line and moves well laterally. His skill set would also work at outside linebacker in some systems on the next level.

Kratofil produced 16.0 tackles (5 solo, 2.5 TFL) and a half sack as a 10th-grader last season. The versatile defender should see those statistics rise in 2025, when more opportunity likely coming his way. During his sophomore highlight video, Kratofil shows that he can deliver whether he has a hand in the dirt or is standing up off of the edge. He’s committed to the scheme, carrying out his assignments within it. Kratofil succeeds with a combination of strength and speed. Attention to improving those areas even more this offseason would lead to what could be a breakout campaign for Kratofil.
