is a starting Class of 2027 wide receiver for Ashland. O’Brien is very quick and explosive off the line of scrimmage. He possesses great leaping ability, high-points the ball in tight coverage and flashes great hands in traffic. O’Brien holds offers from Austin Peay and Ashland, but that will undoubtedly change this spring as the winter contact period kicks off.

Killian finished with three receptions, but was a common target deep down the field, finishing with two touchdowns and 118 yards. He’s quick off the line and can beat press coverage. He tracks the ball well and can high point the ball. He’s a great athlete with good length and versatility, allowing him to line up anywhere on the field. He also had a key pass breakup late in the game that allowed Ashland to take the lead on the next possession. I’m excited to see what Killian does in the offseason.

Killian hasn’t been able to showcase his talent fully this season because Ashland has had running clocks in half of their games, but he is putting up a great 2025 campaign. At WR, he lines up on the boundary and provides a vertical presence. He’s got blazing speed and can separate downfield well. If he does manage to get the ball short, it’s typically off of a screen or a short route concept to get him in open space to make plays. At DB, he lines up off the line as a boundary corner. He’s got great eyes and can play QBs into throwing at him. He’s got several interceptions on the season, and many of them he’s broken onto the ball and made a play. He plays with leverage, and his athleticism lets him make excellent plays to attack the ball. I expect offers to roll in for Killian in the coming winter period.

O’Brien a talented two-way player for the Ashland Arrows. He’s a speedy wide receiver who has the athletic ability to make difficult and contested catches. He has the speed an acceleration to create separation in his vertical routes. Versus zone defense he knows how to find pockets to sit down and get open. On defense plays with good anticipation and has a strong break on the ball. As he continues to get bigger and stronger I’m excited to see what the future holds for O’Brien.

is another quarterback that caught my eye during camp. Coming out of the Buckeye State, Killian put together a strong camp with some stunning numbers. With his 4 breaking the top half of the quarterback group, and a smooth running in the L Drill, Killian proved that he can move well when his called to. During individual drills, Killian showcased several athletic assets that have proven to help him become the weapon that he is in the pocket. One of the first things that stuck out to me was his body control in the pocket. As Killian moved through the pocket, there was a very natural and smooth flow to his movements. Habits like this allow him to stay controlled in the pocket and help him make easy decisions as he spins the ball out to his wideouts. Another aspect of his game that I enjoyed watching was his reaction time, and the quick release in his throws. During the series of drills that Killian went through, he reacted to different targets quickly as he always kept his eyes downfield and his release time faster than most of the other’s in his group. Most importantly, Killian’s ball placement ability was incredibly impressive as he had no problem putting the ball exactly where his receivers needed it to be so they can haul the ball in on the run. Overall, everything Killian did impressed me and I would not be shocked if he continued to put together performances much like the one he put on at camp last weekend.
