About Kieran

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a 6'2", 175 lb Class of 2029 defensive end/edge rusher and varsity starter at Seaforth High School in Pittsboro, North Carolina. I play with a high-motor, attacking style off the edge, using my length and quickness to disrupt plays in the backfield. I’m an All-Conference and 2nd Team All-County selection who is competitive, coachable, and always putting in extra work.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a disciplined, coachable player who takes pride in doing the little things right. I’m highly competitive, but I stay composed and focused. I bring energy, encourage my teammates, and always put the team’s success first. I’m willing to outwork others in the weight room, in practice, and in film study to keep improving every day.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am an NJHS inductee, a president's award recipient, and a part of Morgan's Message.

Seaforth isn’t typically the defensive lineman capital of the state, but Pooley looks every bit like a potential Division I prospect. The freshman has great length off the edge, and several of his tackles for loss came on the other side of the formation, as he’s relentless in pursuit. He’s a budding pass-rusher, and honestly, we don’t know a ton about him, so we’re excited to scout him further over the next few seasons.
