Keon stole the show on defense being in on almost every tackle. He played with high energy and passion. Pre-snap, he made the calls and led by example once live bullets started flying. At MLB you are the anchor and once Keon make his quick reads, he was downhill from there seeking to destroy. That he did, leading his team in total, solos, and assisted tackles. Standing close to 5’10 and weighing 217 going into his freshman year is an equation for success. Watching him run fit and blitz under control, shows maturity and a high ceiling for him to step into his own at the next level.
The size and power of a thunder and lightning backfield for Kate Bond Middle School in Memphis, Tennessee, Cooper is an absolute load to bring down at Running Back. . I’m aware the NFL comparisons are farfetched, but his running style is extremely reminiscent of NFL Hall of Famer, Jerome Bettis. He’s a big, wide kid who drives his legs like pistons when running in the open field and has been clocked at a 4.7 in the forty yard dash. While the Jerome Bettis comparison is more than fair, there’s also an argument to say he runs much like current Maryland Running Back Antwain Littleton II. When not scoring touchdowns, Cooper doubles as a devastating lead blocker for the lightning part of the tandem Kate Bond backfield, Larry Johnson IIILarryJohnson III

. He’s also a menace as Mike Linebacker or even a Defensive Tackle if the situation calls for it.
