is a dominant linebacker out of Vigor that has produced at a high level throughout his entire high school career and his senior season has been nothing different. Kelly has an elite ability to read and react to opposing offenses and can make tons of open-field tackles, it’s super impressive how quickly he diagnoses plays and gets to the ball. Against the pass Kelly does a lot as well, he is a talented blitzer that can stay with some targets in coverage as well. Kelly has repeated much of the same success he’s seen over the course of his career- this year Kelly has recorded 51 total tackles (39 solo, 18 for loss), 4 sacks, 2 forced/recovered fumbles, and one interception. Kelly has played really well all four years and has picked up a good bit of collegiate attention in the process- over the last few months he picked up offers from Tuskegee, Alabama State, Army, and many others. Be sure to keep watching Kelly the rest of this year, he’s been a terrific player to cover and is bound to keep making great plays for his team!

might be the most instinctual player in the state. He is super refined in pass coverage, pinpointing receivers crossing across the field and putting himself in position to make a play on the ball. He might not be a thumper, but he clicks downhill and has enough muscle in his frame to generate some solid contact at impact. He is a fundamentally sound tackler, striking with good pad level and generating force from the turf. He doesn’t have blazing speed, but his range and instincts are on display when he puts his cleats in the ground and runs to the football. Kelly might not be a top-tier athlete, but his instincts are off the charts, which allows him to compensate. He has picked up several D1 offers this offseason.

Kelly is an athletic LB prospect that has already garnered FBS attention. Kelly plays with excellent spatial awareness and coverage skills. He is disciplined with his eyes, keeping them locked on the QB and keeping his feet active to open up sudden moves. He does a good job of crowding receivers that run in and out of his zone, making tight windows even tighter for QBs. Kelly isn’t a thumper, but he dissects chaos well when he comes downhill and strikes with good pad-level. Kelly’s athleticism and ability to cloud up the intermediate section of the field for QBs makes him a super intriguing second-level prospect that could find the field early at the next level.

is a junior linebacker for Mobile Christian that we talked about last summer and man, has he impressed us this season. Kelly recently put up an exceptional performance in his teams recent game against Flomaton where Mobile Christian’s defense pitched a shut out. Kelly had a massive role and impact on this game= he ended up totaling 16 tackles, including 11 solo tackles and 5 assisted tackles. Kelly has an elite ability to read opposing offenses and can make tons of open-field tackles- this week he contributed a ton to his team’s success, keep an eye on him as he continues to ball out this fall!

before his performance last week, but with his play, he’s definitely going to be a prospect to watch for us! Kelly is a talented middle linebacker for Mobile Christian that just kicked off his junior season with a monstrous performance against Athens Academy. Kelly has a ton of sideline to sideline skills- he really can move around the field to make tackles, and thrives at both getting into the backfield to make tough plays and at tracking and bringing down the ball carrier regardless of where the ball is being taken. Kelly absolutely dominated and showed off these skills last week when he put up 20 total tackles (16 solo, 2 for loss)! Although we haven’t seen much of Kelly before this last week, were going to have to keep track of him this fall!
