Little was known about this Mid-Tennessee pass catcher going into the 2026 season but Tears has jumped on the scene in a strong way and shown me next level abilities that could work on the D1 playing stage. The Tigers junior wideout has nice physical tools that translate well along with natural athletic abilities and speed that makes him dangerous with the ball in his hands. Tears shows explosive flashes on film along with the ability to separate from his defender while also sporting the hands and size to high point the ball when it’s called for. This Mid-Tennessee product stands about 6’3 180 plus pounds with plenty of room to get bigger and stronger while maintaining his athleticism and game changing abilities. There are several physical tools about Tears that I like but of course more development is needed, especially with his route running and football instincts. I’m interested to see how things play out with his recruitment because I see a possible D1 level recruit with Tears with room to grow into a possible Power Four guy.
