As most expected, Obot checks into our final rankings release as the top prospect in the state and could very well be a Sunday guy by the time it’s all said and done. The national recruit has the ideal frame/size for the P4 level and should be a multi-year starter at Utah and offers everything the highest level of college football demands from a physical and ceiling standpoint. His unique combination of size, bend, natural strength and having the frame to pack on more good weight is rare to find and mixing in his solid starting tools both in the run and pass game makes him a projected early starter for the Utes. He held 25 offers before it was all said and done and is ranked as a consensus 4-star recruit per 247-Sports.
Recruiting notes: One of the top offensive tackle prospects in the entire country, the Fruitland product could very well be a Sunday guy by the time it’s all said and done post college. He has elite length and athleticism for the tackle position and is wanted by all the blue blood schools across the nation. Obot is one of the top uncommitted prospects on the West Coast and his recruitment is one to watch closely as we move through Summer.
Obot checks into our 2026 rankings as the number one prospect in Idaho, and is one of the top overall prospects we have seen in this state in recent memory with the likes of Gatlin Bair and Colston Loveland, among others. He has elite size, length and athleticism for the tackle position and is the prototypical body-type for a power five left tackle and potential Sunday guy. At 285 pounds, he holds his weight extremely well and will only continue to grow and become more technically sound at the next level. He is a 4-star national recruit per multiple recruiting sites, and already holds 20+ power five offers heading into his Senior season.
