Philpot should see a big uptick in our next rankings update after a solid Junior season and is one of the top returning pass catchers across the state. He is explosive off the ball, can stretch the field vertically and chunk yardage downfield. He shows tracking abilities over the top, soft hands underneath and can go up and win on 50/50 balls. After the catch he has some good twitch to make tacklers miss, open field speed in the clear and can hit multiple gears while a very high IQ route runner. He should command plenty of next level attention and is one of the best at his position across Idaho.

Philpot is one of the more explosive play-makers at the position across Idaho and has had a fast start to his Junior season campaign. He shows he is a precise route runner that can stretch the field, has strong hands when making contested catches and can run a variety of different in-breaking and out-breaking routes while explosive with the ball in his hands and has a big play abilities when he touches the ball. This past week he went for 100+ yards and 1 score receiving while also adding another touchdown on the ground.
