Barney has been ripping up defenses this season and he is a 2025 prospect that college programs should be getting eyes on. At 6-foot 185 pounds, he has a stout, compact frame, he runs with excellent pad level in between the tackles and he has superb short area quickness that enables him to change directions quickly. When he gets in the open field, he is shifty in space with the ability to make defenders miss and he has the speed to make a house call from any down or distance. Barney has been clocked at an in game speed 21.59 MPH. While the Vikings haven’t had the season as a team that they were hoping for, Barney has been a bright spot. In week 8, Barney had over 200 yards of total offense and 3 touchdowns. This was the second week that he had over 200 yards from scrimmage and multiple touchdowns.
