. is an incredibly shifty back who has no issues making defenders miss. Reaching into his deep bag of tricks, you never know what move he’s going to make, but there’s a good chance the first guy isn’t able to bring him down. A true dual threat, Avila Jr. does a great job catching the ball out of the backfield. Both with making himself an option when his quarterback gets into trouble and designed routes, his secure hands and ability after the catch make him a real threat through the air. Going into his sophomore season, Avila Jr. is a player coaches should have their eye on.
