Mason has been used all over the field. On offense, he’s been asked to take on the lead back role and does well as a passing option. He shows good hands and is an extension of the run when used as a dump off option. He has a good frame and is finding his footing as a running back. On defense, he’s been effective in limiting big plays and has been all over the field. He’s done a good job reacting and closing ground. He’ll be tasked to limit the big plays and stopping Northridge on key 3rd downs.
