Coming in as the state’s No. 53 prospect in the class of 2027, along with being ranked as the No. 4 prospect at the quarterback position, is none other than Karsen Sellers Karsen Sellers 6'2" | 185 lbs | QB Alexandria | 2027 State LA . Sellers is a prospect who will only get better with the more reps that he receives. He is one of the players with great ability to run out of the pocket and make a play, as he can escape pressure extremely well. One could argue that he is one of the more underrated prospects in the class and is bound to climb the rankings after this season.

Sellers made the trip from Louisiana and made it count. He showcased a strong arm with a clean, repeatable delivery and the ability to fit the football into tight windows. During 1-on-1s, he completed passes against tight coverage and showed excellent touch on his deep ball.

His 2025 fall tape backs it up, superb pocket mobility, accuracy on the move, and the ability to extend plays outside the pocket. He can deliver the ball from multiple arm slots and create with his feet when needed. Sellers currently has interest from Arkansas and the University of Louisiana.

The 2027 gunslinger led his team to the state championship in Louisiana’s highest classification. With two more seasons left in his prep career, expect some size gains that will make him a steal for any program in the 2027 cycle.
