About Kamouri

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m as tough as they come—both mentally and physically. I’m a leader who knows when to step up and when to follow. I stay composed under pressure and never get too high or too low during the game. As a QB I’m cerebral, I bring elite arm strength, high velocity, process intel fast, and pinpoint accuracy whether I’m rolling out or standing tall in the pocket. I calm and thrive in adversity.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m grounded in faith, coachable, and teachable. I’m always eager to learn and grow. I carry myself with respect and humility, both on and off the field, and lead by example. All levels I bring a calmness, relaxed presence, but I know exactly when to turn on the urgency and intensity. My mindset is steady, lazer focused, —making me a dependable leader who elevates everyone around me.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I volunteer for non profit Growing Great Generations.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Over the years, I’ve developed into a true leader—on the field, in the locker room, and in my community. I lead with purpose, passion, and poise, knowing when to speak up and when to let my actions do the talking. I thrive in team environments, putting the group’s success over individual accolades. I’m dependable, and bring relentless energy. Leadership is more than football it’s being impactful.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

In Aug 2024, I lost my uncle—one of my biggest supporters. It hit me hard and shook me emotionally, but I knew he would’ve wanted me to keep going and give it everything I had. I used that pain as fuel, locked in even deeper, and stepped up to lead my team. Through every practice, every game, I carried his memory with me and we won AYF Nationals 2024.

What type of college are you looking for?

My parents always told me to shoot for the stars—and never stop until I get there.

KJ Collins-Walker has the potential to be a very good prospect. Key to his recruiting will be how much he grows in the coming years, but the 5-foot-10, 200-pound quarterback flashes the goods. He has a quick trigger, throws a nice deep ball and can throw with velocity and timing between the hashes. Collins-Walker is a legitimate dual-threat QB who can make plays with his legs. The St. Francis de Sales quarterback is a highly productive passer with plenty of upside.
