Upper Darby’s Kamar Perlote Kamar Perlote 6'2" | 190 lbs | LB Upper Darby | 2024 State PA is stacking the camp invites. Saint Francis, Monmouth, Temple, UConn, you might catch Perlote at any or all of these camps this Spring/Summer. He’s a name you’re going to want to circle.
6’2, 200-pound pass rusher with OLB capabilities. A bar of soap off the edge, scheme versatile prospect whose game is still very moldable. Not sure if many outside the area are familiar with his game. Should be a lock for FCS interest at the very least. I have a feeling he’s going to mature into his body soon. High chance he could put on great weight or even gain an inch or two in height.

out-produced Roberts when you break down the stats. 90 tackles, 18 TFLs, 6 sacks on the year. The stats don’t paint the entire picture. There’s effort on every rep. There’s a motor revving on each pursuit of the football. This kid gets after it and sets the tone for Upper Darby much like

does for Canon-McMillan. Primarily plays off the edge with his hand off the dirt, Perlote excels in chasing down ball carriers behind the LOS thanks to special pursuit technique. A ton of pass rush reps go unnoticed, the six sacks could easily turn to twelve had Perlote closed just a half-second sooner. A ton of hurries on tape. I’m waiting for Perlote’s game to fully unlock, what’s his ceiling?

A stand-up outside linebacker standing at 6’2, weighing in at a lean 195. I think highly of the young man, yet he’s going to face obstacles getting looks since he’s coming out of Upper Darby. The Delco/Philly area has enough of a hard time as is. This kid is worth a trip out to the area. I didn’t get the chance to see him ball live this Fall, yet piecing together his tapes after his mid-season film, there’s a lot to like from the top 100 prospect. Perlote is a sprinter at OLB, he’s going to run to the football no matter if the play is called to his side. I think he’s raw from a technical standpoint. If he can learn how to utilize leverage and his hands each rep, developing a pass-rushing repertoire as well, I could see Perlote being a name to watch among FCS circles. He’s already ahead of the curve, this will be a huge off-season for the young man.
