Kalil is a 2025 QB from Hartford Public. He has a verified height at 5’10 and weight of 187. Barno had an impressive broad jump of 9 feet and shuttle time of 4.6 which highlighted his movement abilities. Slightly undersized, but he made up for it by throwing from different arm angles and moving outside the pocket. He has a quick release which allows him to get rid of the ball quickly. Kalil was able to make down the field passes as well as sideline timing throws. He has a big fall season ahead of time to prove what level college prospect he is. I rated Kalil as the #4 QB in the PRZ New England showcase.

Ranked as a middle-of-the-pack QB prospect. This evaluation based on Barno’s mid-season tape. Sees in-between the hash marks well, hits seams and slot fades well. Impressed with his ability to move while keeping his eyes downfield. Improvisational skills are a plus, seen eluding pressures left and right, this is a must if you aren’t standing 6’2+. Numerous impromptu throws on tape, can throw from unique platforms/arm angles, etc.. Will deal with the same struggles most undersized QBs deal with in terms of recruiting. Want to see more, yet his mid-season tape is enough to stack up well against other similar QBs. Will turn on his next tape as soon as it drops.

He started off an unknown and caught the eye of the position coach and I, as the day went on and he ended with a positive performance. “Barno shined during 1 on 1 period and threw with consistency and accuracy. He found his rhythm and placed the ball rep after rep right into his receivers hands while in stride. He measured in at 5’11” and he carries a durbale frame

He gets the ball out quickly with good accuracy when needed. He shows ability to escape pressure and make plays with his arms and feet. The ball placement of his throws caught my attention. He can change arm angles to make difficult throws on the run. Would like to see more clips of his arm strength, and clips of his speed when carrying ball. Surely a solid recruit behind center.
