made the most of a short six-game season after transferring from a national powerhouse to Oakland Mills, where he quickly proved he’s one of the most dynamic playmakers in the county. A true two-way standout, Wells combines lockdown ability at cornerback with game-breaking speed on offense.
Defensively, Wells is a technician. His polished footwork and sharp anticipation make him a nightmare for opposing quarterbacks to target. In man coverage, he’s glued to his receiver, mirroring routes and challenging throws. His football IQ and competitive edge consistently show up on tape, forcing offenses to think twice about testing his side of the field.
On offense, Oakland Mills maximizes his elite speed by putting the ball in his hands in space, particularly on screens and quick-hitting routes. Wells turned multiple short passes into explosive gains last season, showcasing his burst, agility, and open-field vision.
Wells reclassified to the 2028 class, with his sophomore season ahead, expect Wells to play with a chip on his shoulder and a point to prove. He currently holds nine Division I offers, including Power Five programs such as Penn State, Tennessee, and Michigan State. If he builds on last year’s flashes, he could rise quickly into national spotlight conversations.

Kaleb comes in as the 3rd ranked DB in the recent rankings, and while at SFA last season he looks to have transferred to Oakland Mills HS (have yet to confirm). If so, he looks to join an already pretty stacked DB group over there and with him added. It will be tough for schools in HoCo to get much success in the passing game against them.
A shifty CB with twitchy hips and quick feet, Kaleb is able to break on routes, flip his hips to stay in stride with the WR, and sharp turns out of his backpedal. He is a fluid athlete overall, keeping his balance and momentum when he making these quick change of direction movements. Shows the ability to stay in phase, and weaver/mirror with the receiver. Kaleb also shows versatility as a DB, I can see him playing out wide or being an excellent slot CB at the next level.
Kaleb’s skill set has caught the attention of colleges already as well, as he currently holds 9 Power 4 offers. Sophomore year will be a big year for him and I look forward to seeing how continues to develop and refine his already polished technique.

Wells is a Db that can play pressman and does a good job in zone coverage. He keeps good position after the ball is snapped and stays in phase with the receiver. In one of his interceptions, he took the ball away from the receiver and showed off his return skills. Wells is an athletic prospect that can be used in the slot, outside cornerback or on special teams as a return man. Wells holds 4 D1 offers with the most recent being Penn State and Oregon.
