About Kaisen

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am an OLB/DE/Edge on Defense and a FB/TE on Offense. I would describe my style as a motor that doesn't quit. I play hard from snap to whistle. I utilize my speed, game instincts and strength to drive my play. Junior year awards and stats • NDHSAA 1st team All-State • NDHSAA All-EDC Team • 48 TT (35 solo, 13 assists), 12 Sacks, 6 TFLs, 3 FF, 1 FR • NDHSAA Class 2A State Champions

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a strong passion for the game of football, the drive to work hard, the attitude to be coachable and a great teammate. I feel that you play as hard as you can, be respectful to the refs and opponents. I know that I will always be prepared because the hard work in the the offseason will translate to in-game strength and agility. Watching film is also a big part of preparation.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

National Honors Society Horace High Academic Achievement Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC)

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am in the SAAC and always attend meetings to make sure our schools culture is right for the student athletes as well as coaches. I umpire youth baseball and help coach youth football camps our high school hosts in the summer. I value community service/volunteering as it ties into National Honors Society.

What type of college are you looking for?

A college that offers Engineering as a degree but also that has a very storied football program.

Yet another West Fargo Horace linebacker I have clearly been sleeping on is Kaisen Nordick Kaisen Nordick Kaisen Nordick 5'11" | 190 lbs | ATH/LB West Fargo Horace | 2026 State ND . Although his Week 1 reps show him off as more of an EDGE rusher, you can grasp from a mile away that this 5’11 190 pounder is a linebacker at the next-level. Kaisen had 9 total tackles (2 TFL), 2 sacks, and a forced fumble against Grand Forks Red River which is surely a stat-stuffer on defense. Consistency is key when we evaluate game tape, and the violent hands that Kaisen showed with that getting off his blocks. With his first sack he had on the Roughriders, you see plenty of natural athleticism when he got downhill as he looks like a prospect with a growing football IQ as well, despite a likely size mismatch. If Kaisen keeps stacking weeks like last week, he certainly should get more attention from college programs in my eyes.
