impressed on the field as he led his team to the section semifinals where the eventually fell to Hanover Park. Justus is an intelligent gunslinger with the mobility to avoid danger in the pocket and an arm that can sling the ball across the field. Justus has some magic in his play on the field. He is one of those QBs that can keep a play alive even when it looks like all is lost. There were multiple times in 2024 where it seemed like a defender had Justus wrapped up in the backfield, and comes to find he slips out of their grips and keeps the play alive. That’s when Justus really starts to shine. When he scrambles out of the pocket Justus is still very capable of delivering on target throws across the entire field. He has perfected the craft of throwing on the run, and does so in a devastating manner against opposing defenses. Justus is a player to keep an eye on in 2025, as he was able to throw for just under 2000 yards this season and found the end zone through the air 14 times. Ranked as the #17 QB in the state, Justus is sure to gain attention and recruiting momentum over the next few months.

Justus Favata was a really solid consistent performer amongst the quarterback group. Favata showcased some really solid ball placement and the ability to work quickly in his 3-step drops and work with good timing and rhythm. Favata was able to really adjust his ball flight with different routes and throw some really nice intermediate throws. Favata let some deep ball hang to much but was clinical in the short and intermediate area.

Justus Favata showed some skill in freshman highlights from 2022. While Justus is more of a pocket passer as well, he’s able to move fluidly within the pocket, and when needed, he can get out outside of it and make some amazing throws on the run. He is one of the better qbs from NJ in 2026 at throwing the ball on the run and across his body. He seems very comfortable throwing from awkward positions, able to get his whole body involved to get the ball where it needs to be. Lastly, Justus has a great arm for his size. He can throw the ball on a line. With a few more inches gained over these next few years, Justus is a sure success for Ramsey.
