We just talked about him the other day. He’s 6’2”, 285, and already checks many of the boxes you want in an interior offensive lineman. Great balance. Strong anchor. Clean hand usage. And what separates him is the athleticism he brings to the position. He moves well in space, can pull and trap, and his pass pro is coming along nicely.
Bucknell didn’t comment on what stood out, but it’s not hard to see. He’s a high-upside prospect who could thrive with a few years of college development. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s one of those guys who eventually makes the FCS-to-FBS jump. The tools are there. He just needed that first offer — and now that it’s on the table, I expect more to follow.

, out of Bridgewater-Raritan, is one of the more underrated offensive linemen in New Jersey—and he just made a significant statement at the PSR Combine. The 6’2”, 285-pound tackle earned his first Division I offer from Bucknell after a strong showing, and it’s clear why schools are beginning to take notice.
Simpson stands out for his ability to anchor. His pad level is consistently low, and that’s where he wins most of his reps. He plays with natural leverage, which allows him to neutralize defenders effectively. What sets him apart, though, is his lower-body athleticism. He’s fluid and mobile, pulling across the line, cracking down on defensive ends, or getting to the second level with ease. He’s even athletic enough to catch a pass and move the chains—rare for a lineman his size.
Currently lining up at tackle, Simpson’s future projects are likely on the interior—at guard or center—where his traits could shine. His size, technique, and mobility give him real upside, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see him emerge as a transfer portal target for a higher-level program down the road. He also shows flashes of advanced hand usage, particularly his ability to snatch and reset against edge rushers. Simpson is a high-upside interior line prospect whose best football is still ahead.

is a big, bookend-type offensive tackler for the Panthers. Size aside, there are a lot of things that I like about the big blindside blocker. First, he is well coached in working to avoid an end-man from getting hands on him when down blocking. We see Simpson often rip inside as he works to climb to the second level. For a young man his side, I also appreciated how good of a kick step he has when pass protecting. His kick step shows balance and surprising quickness. Thinking he is big and lumbering, pass rushers who opt to take the inside path often find themselves pinned when they make their move. Additionally, we see a few clips where Simpson works his hands – mostly to gain inside and/or lower leverage on his opponent to control them and work them upward. With college-ready size I would encourage Simpson to refine his pad level and his footwork when run blocking, as short, choppy steps will be to his benefit.
