Klootwyk has seen his recruiting stock on the rise as of late pulling in first three offers this month highlighted by a D1 offer from San Diego. The three year starter is capable of being effective from any position on the OL at 6’2” 270 lbs. with a 79 inch wingspan. Demonstrates the ability to operate in space and engage a moving defender with proper angles and footwork. Shows good initial quickness out of his stance and the movement skills to get out in front as a puller or as a screen blocker. Establishes positional leverage early on in the play and accelerates his feet upon contact to be a strong finisher at the POA. Flashes the balance and hand usage to stay in front and control defenders throughout the play. Debuts in the rankings at #118 overall.
