Grinnell won six games last season, its three setbacks coming against 3A postseason participants in Williamsburg, Solon and Benton. The good news for the Tigers is that they’ll be out of that district in 2025. The bad news might be that they’re moving up a classification. The transition should be made easier by returning production like Guzman. As a junior last season, he helped out on defense, but the junior highlight video emphasizes his talent on the offensive front. A right tackle last season, Guzman’s future on the next level likely would be at guard, where his strength, power and agility would play up more than on the outside.
