of St. Thomas Aquinas. Marks is not only regarded as one of the top defensive tackles in the state for the ’23 campaign, but in the entire country as well. He’s been labeled a Four-Star prospect by a few recruiting sites such as ESPN300 and On3.com. This prestigious ranking came after Marks impressed at the Under Armour Next Showcase in April, which then landed him multiple offers from some notable Power 5 programs. The 6-foot-7, 275-pound defensive tackle added Michigan, Penn State, and the University of Southern California to his long list of D-I offers.

of St. Thomas Aquinas. Marks became a member of this prestigious group in the previous update, but this time, he jumps three spots to become the No. 2 overall prospect and the 2nd ranked defensive lineman in the class. The Saints had a void on their defensive line after graduating Jalen Marshall last spring, and they looked to Marks to fill that hole this past season. It’s safe to say he picked up where his predecessor left off. He’d earn All-EKL honors in his first varsity season, and although he was not an All-State selection, his play would earn him offers from Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska.

The 6’7, 260 lb. DT has hit the state of Kansas’ recruiting scene full throttle after earning his first offer from Big12 Kansas on October 8th. Previously, he had visited Lawrence last March, and the Jayhawks must have been keeping a close eye on his film and development and loved what they saw. Also a standout power forward for St. Thomas Aquinas in Overland Park, Marks only has two games of tape available on his Hudl but in them you see a long, lean, massive defensive tackle with a good first step and the strength to hold his gap through double teams if necessary. He also uses his giant wingspan to get into passing lanes, and I also like his closing speed for a big guy as well. I’ll be keeping a close eye on his updated tape as it comes.
