MacFadden, a two-way player for Westminster in British Columbia has some quality defensive tape as a linebacker. MacFadden plays that sort of hybrid Strong Safety/Linebacker position and shows the ability to line up on the LOS and come off the edge impacting the run game but also as a slot corner who can read the quarterback and cover in space. MacFadden shows a lot of versatility on his tape but his ability to tackle in the open space is what flashes on tape. MacFadden has solid closing speed and burst to the ball but he plays with patience and good pursuit. MacFadden may not play LB at the next level because of his size but he can be classified more as a playmaker on defense who can change alignments on any given down or situation.
