Expert Analysis
Connor Jackson | Prep Redzone Scout
I think there are a few guys in the 2028 class in AL that can really emerge, several on this list. Spencer is another one of those guys. He holds a pair of early D1 offers, and that’s before he has fully jumped onto the radar and contributed. He is a toweing 6’6 200 with plenty of frame left to pack on. He has a big arm, with potential and room to add even more spin and velocity on his throws. He can put some lofty trajectory on the ball, and at his size, he will generate the most buzz with his ability to generate shock plays down the field with his arm. Rare traits, arm strength, and upside all cross at the intersection here.

is a talented up-and-coming QB from Orange Beach everyone needs to look out for.
“At 6’3 170, Spencer stands tall in the pocket and plays with a ton of confidence, consistently reading defenses and ripping the ball all over the field. He has some impressive arm talent- he can push the ball downfield, make throws on the move, and zip it through tight windows to his WRs.
I’m really impressed with how quickly Spencer gets the ball out- as soon as he drops back, he finds the open man, pulls the trigger, and keeps the chains steadily moving. Spencer did a great job keeping the ball safe last season and already shows a great understanding of his offense. He’ll be a QB to look out for the next few years.“
Spencer has some real talent, and it’s easy to see in his tape. He’s already put together some impressive film from last fall, make sure you take a look below:

Spencer is a true traits eval with the potential to continue developing as one of the premier 2028 QBs in Alabama. It’s easy to get excited about the flashes. He is a tall, loose basketball athlete with a lot of space to fill out. He has a quick, elastic release and can boom the ball around the yard with ease. Now, it’s just time for him to fully break onto the radar and produce as a junior. Regardless, an early offer from UAB is under his belt, and there’s a chance more are coming down the pipe this offseason.
