Keeling
5'10" | 190 lbs | RB
St. Thomas More | 2027
New E
has Division I talent as a running back since he received an offer from Southern University — his first Division I offer — in early March. Southern is an FCS program that competes in the Southern Athletic Conference. Keeling, who will play for St. Thomas More next season, had modest statistics for Sprayberry High School in Marietta, Ga., last season, when he rushed for 644 yards and 10 touchdowns on 56 carries. He also caught six passes, one of which was a TD reception. His procuction would have been increased had he not played in an offense that featured multiple big-play threats. Keeling is a mix of power and speed, which makes him an effective runner between the tackles or when he gets to the edge. He can be tough to bring down, but also pulls away from defenders even when it looks like he’s not running hard. Keeling appears to be a capable receiver. He would benefit if his highlights displayed his blocking ability. Like any Division I running back, he will need to keep improving his speed and lower-body strength. If he can be an effective blocker his versatility could make him a three-down back at the college level.
