Josiah consistently showed patience, quick processing and strong field awareness, doing a great job finding opportunities and delivering the ball with the appropriate touch or zip. His ball placement was excellent, regularly hitting receivers in stride while also showing the ability to fit throws into tight windows.

Those same traits showed up in his NJ Dreamchasers film, reinforcing the consistency of his offseason. After a strong spring and summer, Josiah heads into the season with plenty of momentum.

Performing at an elite level last weekend as his squad’s QB, Josiah moved the ball down the field with patience and ease. Throughout the weekend, Josiah showed he can consistently hit his receivers in stride to keep the chains moving.

Josiah’s touchdown in his X post is a perfect example of patience, processing speed and delivering a well timed throw with his receiver. Josiah saw the play develop in front of him and snuck the ball into a tight window to keep it away from the defenders.

Josiah is a young, 2031 QB I keep coming back to, and for good reason. He put up stellar performances one after the other in the 2025 season, setting himself up for a big year this up coming fall.

Breaking down his NJ Dreamchasers film, Josiah once again shows there are few weaknesses in his game. He does an exceptional job evaluating the field and seeing opportunities in front of him, delivering the ball with the right touch or zip, depending on how he has to sneak it in. Multiple times he showed great ball placement, hitting his man in stride or throwing it high for only his man to reach. With more 7 on 7s on the calendar this spring, I’m looking forward to see Josiah and the NJ Dreamchasers live.

He showed remarkable composure under pressure, keeping his eyes downfield even as defenders closed in. What stood out most was Josiah’s touch on the ball. He consistently placed it just over the defensive line and into his receiver’s outstretched hands with precision. His ability to shuffle within the pocket and find the open window made him look well beyond his years in command and poise.

Josiah also displayed great chemistry with his receivers, particularly with Trent Lee Jr. Trent Lee Jr. 5'6" | 130 lbs | WR/DB DePaul Catholic | 2030 NJ ., forming a dangerous duo that defenses struggle to contain. On one of his throws, he trusted Trent, placing the ball far out in front where only he could reach it, demonstrating both confidence and timing. It’s clear he’s done some growing since the last time I saw him take the field too, physically and as a field general. His combination of vision, accuracy, and poise makes him a young quarterback to keep an eye on for the future.

Josiah is a young quarterback who definitely caught my eye during individual drills at the Next Combine. Despite his age and size, he showed a surprisingly strong arm, especially when throwing on the run, delivering passes with confidence and zip. As he continues to develop and eventually hits a growth spurt, we’ll get a much clearer picture of just how high Josiah’s ceiling really is.
