Cross has played on both sides of the ball throughout his career and I’ve gone back and forth watching his tape trying to decide what side of the ball he’s got more potential on. Offensively, he’s got good length, a high motor, and doesn’t place his hands on the outside. Defensively, he’s aggressive and doesn’t let up. He’s able to bullrush from time to time and as he developed in the weight room could begin throwing linemen around. He’s a bit raw, but his potential is top-notch.
