Expert Analysis
Sam Erman | Prep Redzone Scout
Miller is a good two-way player with potential on both sides of the ball. He’s a good receiver who isn’t afraid to work over the middle, and he has the strength to block and play as a true end-of-line tight end. He’s a plus in the running game and doesn’t shy away from doing the dirty work. Defensively, he’s good off the edge with solid pursuit and takes good angles to the ball. He’s strong enough to play through contact and can get after the quarterback when turned loose. I actually like him a little better at tight end because of the combination of hands and blocking ability. The potential is pretty clear, and I’m hoping to see him put together a big year this fall.

looked good during his third and final Kentucky Future Stars event. A starter on the Edge, Miller (unofficially) finished with three tackles on the afternoon. Interestingly enough, he was in on a stop on each of Tennessee’s first two drives of the day, before tacking on his third tackle in the second half.

has the ability and potential, to continue to be one of the best 2029 prospects in Kentucky. Following an MVP performance in 2023, he was again named a Top Performer in last year’s tilt against Tennessee. Most recently, he was a big reason for Region 4’s convincing victory in the KYMFA BOTR.

was one of them. He’s listed at 6-foot-2 and 215-pounds, but he certainly looks bigger than that. The physical mismatch used his reach, speed and strength to keep the opposing Offensive Tackles off balance and take up residency in the backfield. Without the benefit of replay and having to watch all 22 players at the same time, I don’t have official stats but Miller was a terror screaming off the edge all weekend.

, a defensive lineman that locked it down at the line of scrimmage. On top of great size and strength, Miller impressed me with his electric speed off the snap. Miller proved he could both read the handoff, catch up to the running back from along the edge and shove defenders out of bounds.
