Defensive Back Top Performer: ” Simms gave consistent effort during the showcase. He is a bit undersized in his frame and body weight but has good athleticism to play through the concern. He’s a sophomore with plenty of time for additional growth.  He displayed the ability to close in space quickly with a good burst and acceleration. He can recover quickly (catch up speed). A bit raw in technique but does have the tools to work with. He flashed fluid movements in drill period that included having loose hips to break in either direction.
