Offensive linemen don’t often get the same credit and praise that skill positions receive. We’ll make an exception for Janowski. The University of Iowa commit measures in at 6’3, 275 lbs. He plays with a nastiness that is nearly jaw-dropping, as the senior center can run over anything in his path. Janowski handles one-on-one blocks with ease, delivering a perfect snap, firing off the ball, and running defensive linemen backwards. He is incredibly athletic, as he can combo and work to the second level to put linebackers on the ground. While the center position may not be as fun to watch as some other spots on the field, be sure to keep an eye out for Janowski anchoring the Griffins’ offensive line on Saturday.

is the first offensive lineman to be mentioned, and for good reason. The big 6’2 – 275-pound offensive lineman recently put together an awesome junior season, and is looking to do much of the same in 2023. In the trenches, saying that Josh is a persistent blocker would be an understatement. Throughout his highlight tape, Josh has proven to make a habit out of driving defenders back at least 10 yards. On top of that, Josh is an explosive blocker who knows how to get bodies on the ground. Josh is everything that you would want in an offensive lineman and more. The Iowa Hawkeye football program got a good, and I am excited to see how he develops throughout his career at both Lincoln Way East and Iowa.

Josh is another great prospect who handles the middle of the line for Lincoln Way East. He is the epitome of trench dawg and finishes every play at the echo of the whistle. Will definitely end up staying in the middle for whatever school he attends, whether staying at center or sliding over to one of the guard spots. As an added bonus is absolutely deadly from 3-point range on the basketball court. Josh has made several midwest visits and is awaiting his first offer. His Twitter handle is @JanowskiJosh

Mr. Janowski is one of the top players that was in this state title game and was going up against a deadly Loyola Academy defensive front. This young man is poised to be a sure fire P5 recruit and showcased just why that is in the state title game with his strong punch at the point of attack and driving his legs through the whistle when he’s blocking in-line. In terms of his pass protection, he has the ability to both anchor and mirror the rushing defender to keep the pocket clean. The Griffin’s didn’t get the result that they wanted finishing as the 8A IHSA Runner-Ups but be sure to keep an eye on them next fall as they are going to be re-loading their roster en route to aim for another state title run.

rnMr. Janowski is our #1 OL for the Class of 2024 and he showcased why that is Friday night. His ability to use his quick punch to jolt defenders upright when blocking in-line is one to watch. In pass protection, he gets set to block quickly and can either absorb the bull rush or tie up the swim move by getting his hands inside with a quick punch. What’s also impressive about this young man is how he can work either as an OC or an OG and not miss a step with the impact he’ll bring to the O-Line. Currently, he holds 3 MAC Offers and I expect more to come his way once this season is concluded. Another high potential young man the Griffins have. Twitter
