No surprise here, as Joseph Filardi Joseph Filardi 6'1" | 185 lbs | QB Half Hollow Hills West | 2025 State NY was ranked as the 4th quarterback in the state and the Island’s second overall prospect. Filardi will be playing football and lacrosse at Syracuse which is an incredible achievement to say the least. He’s coming off a memorable junior season after recording well over 3,000 yards passing and also eclipsing 1,000 yards rushing. He is a favorite for the Hansen Award (given to Suffolk County’s top football player) for his senior year. Filardi came off an incredible lacrosse season, as his overall athleticism is up there with almost any prospect on Long Island.
