He was the obvious focal point of the Westminster defense on Saturday, drawing very frequent double teams. As a pass rusher, he showed the ability to use his speed and strength to win off the edge and get to the quarterback. Once he got to the quarterback, he finished with a ton of physicality, making sure his presence was felt. He also showed a high motor, showing the ability to run sideline to sideline to make tackles in the open field against the run. Anderson is committed to Iowa where I can see him turning into one of their next great edge rushers once he gets his opportunity.

He is coming off a solid junior year in which he finished with 54 tackles, nine tackles for loss, and six sacks. Anderson lines up at defensive end where he has shown the ability to line up as a stand-up edge rusher and in a three-point stance in different shades. He is a very skilled pass rusher using his speed, pass rush moves, and strength to win on a consistent basis off the edge. Once he gets past the offensive tackle, Anderson does a great job of finishing at the quarterback. Against the run, Anderson does a good job of reading the play and getting to the ball in a hurry to make tackles in the open field. Joseph is committed to Iowa where I see him developing into a key piece of their defense once he gets there.
