In 2023, West Allis Hale struggled to a 1-8 record. That one win came in a Week 5 42-0 win over West Allis Central. That is who Hale opens up against this season as they look to start things off with a W. In that game

caught 1 pass for 12 yards, but made his biggest impact in the run game. John helped open up holes for an offense that break free for 296 rushing yards and 4 TDs.
I expect Hale to continue to want to establish the run game, giving Schloss the chance to continue to impress with his powerful blocking. The 6’3″ 240 lbs TE is going to be driving his man off the line all night long and cutting off LBs at the second level. It will be interesting to see if he sees more action in the pass game this time around, but even if he doesn’t the tape is going to be impressive. John is one of the top TEs available, and could even have a future on the IOL. Keep an eye on him this week and the season overall.

. John brings a well balanced game to the TE position and college programs have liked what they see. John has offers from Wayne State, Winona State, River Falls, Southwest Minnesota State, Oshkosh, and Eau Claire. In the run game, John is a mauler. He creates instant push upon contact and has the foot quickness to stay on his man as he drives them 5+ yards off the line or away from the gap. John has experience in the slot and inline as both a blocker and receiver. He does seem to have soft hands, and is an overall smooth athlete while route running and does a great job finding the soft spots in the defense.

The 6’3, 231 lbs tight end from Nathan Hale High School was impressive throughout the Wisconsin Stock Up Showcase. Schloss is a junior who stood out in individual drills and 1-on-1’s versus defensive backs. He used his frame to take advantage of smaller defensive backs, showcasing his ability to box them out on shorter throws while going up and getting the ball on vertical routes. Schloss has solid footwork and soft hands that made every catch look smooth. This rising junior is one to keep an eye on, as Schloss was one of the more impressive tight ends we have seen on our camp circuit.
