He is a one-cut back who hits the hole at full speed once he sees daylight. His top-end speed is evident not only on his long runs from the running back position but also as a returner. McAuliffe has big-play ability on special teams as a punt returner. He accounted for 1,650 all-purpose yards and 25 touchdowns during the 2023 season.

The versatile star from Marist earned IHSFCA 8A All-State Honorable Mention after his outstanding junior campaign. McAuliffe excels at both running back and wide receiver, as the 6’0, 185 lbs athlete tallied 1,650 all purpose yards and 25 total touchdowns this year. He lined up in a variety of spots for the Redhawks. Whether McAuliffe was in the backfield, split out, or returning punts and kicks, one thing is certain: he is a homerun threat every time he touches the ball. McAuliffe has a deadly combination of speed and elusiveness, making him near impossible to tackle in the open field. As he heads into his senior year, McAuliffe is one of the most dangerous players with in ball in his hands in the Land of Lincoln.
