He boasts ideal size at 6’3.5″ and 280 pounds, coupled with impressive quickness and strength. A big-time playmaker, he consistently applies pressure from his inside defensive tackle position. Fitzgibbon should be considered one of the top defensive linemen in this year’s class from the Chicago area.

The 6’3″ 280 lbs DL is fresh off an offer from the Wisconsin Badgers, and it is quickly apparent to see what they like in him. Brad has a massive frame that is able to eat up space, and has the anchor strength to hold the line when needed. However, what is very impressive by the massive athlete is how explosive he is at his size. Brad is lightning quick out of his stance. That quickly turns to power as he lands his initial strikes to create separation from the OL. Brad is able to destroy the pocket with his bull rush and has an effective push pull. Fitzgibbon has a special blend of size, power, and explosive play that many other schools are soon to see and start pursuing heavily.
