John May John May 5'10" | 210 lbs | LB Northridge | 2024 State AL is a really reliable inside linebacker for Northridge, and last week he led their defense to a terrific performance where they won 34-15 against Bessemer City. May had a massive presence on the field- you could find him around the ball on every snap. May recorded an impressive 10 tackles, he consistently made open-field stops and was able to slow down the opposing offense’s progress greatly- his ability to read plays and react with the speed that he has does a great service for his teammates. What made May’s performance even more significant was how he was able to haul in an interception. May has great instincts and a fantastic football IQ that placed him in the right place at the right time, and he was able to reap the benefits. Keep watch of May and this Northridge defense this fall, they’re a really good unit!
