He checked in at 6’7″ 250 lbs on a wildly long and athletically built frame. John has the frame that can easily carry 300 lbs if needed. Friday night it was very clear that Kruse has a ton of potential and tools that he is starting to put together. It looked easy for him to burst out of his stance and turn that quickness into power to collapse the pocket or down block a DT. On offense John plays guard and would flip sides based on the call so the team could run behind him and Setzer. On defense the massive prospect actually played from a two point, edge stance very often. He was able to keep his pad level low while doing so and create separation with that length.
