The 6’5, 215 lbs junior out of Cass Tech was one of the more skilled pass catchers at the PRZ MI Stock Up Showcase. Baker has the frame and skills to be an all around skilled tight end prospect. He was a smooth route runner and displayed elite body control that won him many of his 1-on-1 matchups. Baker understands how to use his big frame and leverage to go up and get the ball. And his soft hands and confidence when catching makes him a dangerous target in the red zone. This rising star in Baker is a name for college coaches to add to their big boards immediately.

Baker is a big 6’5 EDGE/TE from Cass Tech. He’s ranked as the #17 TE in the nation according to WR Hit List, and the #1 2025 TE in Michigan.
I haven’t seen much film of Baker, but if he goes the primarily TE route, I want him to focus on his athleticism and route-running while also playing plenty of defense getting those physical reps in. To be an elite TE, you need to possess elite qualities of a WR and OL. Baker surely has the physical gifts needed, and he’ll have an opportunity to make the most of those gifts with dedication over the next few seasons.
