An excellent senior season saw Lopez jump both rankings and recruiting boards moving up 54 spots to #82 overall and the 12th ranked OL prospect in the 2025 class. He’s got ideal measurements for the D1 level at 6’5” 275 lbs. His natural strength allows him to move opponents off the ball with good leg drive and leverage at the POA. Plays with a wide base to be under control and balanced at the contact point. Voted first team All-region and still has lots of upside and potential to build when he lands on campus at Northern Arizona. Also had offers from Sioux Falls, Fort Lewis, and Bethany.

John-Alexander Lopez John-Alexander Lopez 6'5" | 265 lbs | OL Copper Canyon | 2025 State AZ is an imposing presense out there on the field for Copper Canyon’s defense. At 6’5″ 265 lbs, there’s not much offensive linemen can do when he’s bigger, faster, and stronger than most he lines up against. His long arms are like a lasso he wraps around the ballcarrier and forcibly brings them to the ground. He has a great motor and and doesn’t give up in pursuit of the ball carrier. Taking over a much bigger role in his final high school season, Lopez is sure to garner plenty of attention.
