Benjamin has practically done it all for the Chieftain offense and has been a pivotal player on defense. So far, Joey has rushed for 378 yards, and 2 touchdowns while also hauling in 19 receptions for 431 yards and 6 touchdowns. Joey projects best as a receiver but should be a player that coordinators will have fun finding creative ways to get the ball to him. He’s very good with the ball in his hands and when you can get him in open space, showing great vision and twitch. Benjamin is also a tough player to bring down on first contact, often able to brush off weak arm tackles. Joey has great hands and showed it with several highlight-reel catches whether one-handed or with defenders in his face. Joey also flashed on the defensive side, with 19 tackles and an impressive 4 interceptions (one returned for a touchdown).
